Alltogether I worked with 29 Elephants in nine different Zoos. Additional I worked with 10 Asian Elephants in an Elephant-Camp in India.
1. Enrichment and Planing of new Enclosures:
Re-building of elephant-enclosures and creating of Enrichment to improve the welfare of the elephants and to make the enclosures more safety for the staff (keepers) and also for the elephants. Also building an Trainings-Walls for changing the keeping-system to Protected Contact.

NEW ELEPHANT-ENCLOSURE AT TEHRAN ZOO, IRAN:
The new elephant-outside-enclosure at Tehran Zoo, which Elephant Behaviour Consultant Tobias Dornbusch built there.
2. Target-Training and Foot-care
Target-Training (in Protected Contact) with Elephants in differents Zoos:
Target-Training: This kind of elephant-training only works with positive gratification, but without negative punishment. This Training is the basement for medical-treatment in the "Protected Contact"-Keeping-System. E.g. training the elephants to present all four feets, for feet-care.

3. Transports of Elephants
Trainings for the preparation of Transports and the execution of elephant-transports, incl. the Transport of adult elephant-bulls. Here are some different Tarnsports of Elephants in Protected Contact-System.
Responsible Supervisor for the exchange of elephant bulls, with successfully accomplished (training of both elephants, adjusting the transportation container, ensuring the smooth transportation, etc.).

Re-Building Enclosures:
Giving valuable recommandations to rebuild the enclosure (outside and stables), on how to make an Elephant enclosure more safe for elephants and keepers, specially the door. And building an Trainings-Wall for changing the keeping-system to Protected Contact.
Protected Contact (incl. Foot-care):
Training with the Asian Elephants. The training included: Target-Training and foot-care training. And giving very helpful recommendations about elephant care.
Behavioural Enrichment:
Creating some enrichment-constructions for Hay-Box, etc.
Transport:
Successfully supervised the exchange of the Asian Elephant Bulls „Grand“ and „Bunka“, incl. Preparation and Trainings.
Eriwan Zoo:
Welfare and Care:
Providing the welfare and daily care of the Asian Elephant, and other Ungulates.
Re-Biulding Enclosures:
Giving importaint recommandations to rebuild the enclosure (outside and stables) saftey for an adult elephant-bull and for changing to the keeping-system Protected Contact (incl. Training-Walls).
Protected Contact:
Organization of cohabits and medical trainings (e.g. Target-Training with Elephant)
Transport:
Responsible Supervisor for the exchange of elephant bulls, with successfully accomplished (training of both elephants, adjusting the transportation container, ensuring the smooth transportation, etc.).
Tehran Zoo:
Re-Building Enclosures:
Giving importaint recommandations to rebuild the enclosure (outside and stables) saftey for an adult elephant-bull and for changing to the keeping-system Protected Contact (incl. Target-Walls).
Protected Contact (incl. Foot-care):
Working with the elephants, and training them in Target-Training (persent all four feets, etc.) for Foot-care.

Additional creating some enrichment-constructions for Hay-nets, etc.
